25 years education and training in Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering at King’s College London
The Award-winning programmes: MSc
Medical Engineering and Physics, MSc
Clinical Sciences (Medical Physics)
and MSc Clinical Sciences (Clinical
Engineering) celebrated during 2018
the Silver Anniversary of this
education and training in King's
College London.
Starting from a small Master's programme with 5 students in 1993, our education, training and other academic activities in Medical Physics and Biomedical/Clinical Engineering are now
considered among the world leaders in the field. We are grateful to all colleagues and students who joined us during these 25 years of excellence - years of dedicated, innovative and very successful team work.
The e-booklet with MSc history, developed by its MSc Director (2001-2018) Slavik Tabakov lists the MSc graduates, the external awards and the international activities of the faculty resulting in the first e-learning materials in medical physics, the first educational web site in the profession, the first e-Encyclopaedia of Medical Physics and the first e-Dictionary of Medical Physics Terms (translated in 29 languages). These activities are now used by colleagues in over 100 countries.
